“The Bird”
One of our newest proud-products has a nickname: The Bird. This is a hammer fitting on a FAE forestry mulchers. It is an improved type of the classic hammer for FAE. We can execute this wear part with two types of carbide tips depending on your work conditions. This hardfacing is meant to protect the tip and prolong the lifetime of your hammer. “The Bird ” is also available with CGP hardfacing on its wings, with the same benefits: prolong the lifetime of the hammer. Since we weld all the wear parts in our own workshop GvK Hardfacing, we can experiment. This makes us flexible and able to create a custom solution for you! For Willibald machinery we’ve developed flails. We offer these flails with a carbide tip and also with a CGP hardfacing on the tip. Which one is best for you depends on the specific working conditions of the machine. We’ve found that in clean, green wood a carbide tip is the best option. In contaminated waste with high abrasive wear our users find that CGP hardfacing lasts longer. Give us a call and we will find out which flail is most efficient for you.

We offer the option to make the brazing with two different types of carbide tips, both of excellent quality! And of course welded in our own workshop.
